WIP Wednesday

Hey y'all!  It’s Wednesday and you know what that means!

If you’re joining me from Freshly Pieced WIP Wednesday: Welcome!  Feel free to look around a bit.  You can see my recent finishes here.  If you like what you see, I’d love to invite you to join in the fun on a regular basis.  You can keep up with what I’m up to by subscribing via the RSS feed button, via the join button, or via e-mail.  You can follow me on Pinterest, Flickr, and Instagram too.  All of these links are available on the right sidebar à  There’s also a fun button I designed just for you.  J

Now that we've gotten all the stalking subscribing ;) out of the way, let’s get down to brass tacks.

log cabin block progress

Last week, I showed you some red and pink log cabin blocks.  I’m happy to report that I've made some great progress to get ahead in the Scrappy Stash quilt along (Ellison Lane Quilts).  I have finished all the red, pink, yellow, orange, green, and purple blocks (purples not pictured in this less than stellar photo).  Only 10 blocks left:  5 blue and 5 aqua.  Then on to the sashing and the rest of the quilt finishing.  Here’s what I’d like the finished layout to look like:

No progress:
-The patchwork baby quilt.  I made a couple of bags instead.
-I *still* have not touched the quilt I need to fix in order to donate it (needs Wonder Under)
-Fox pouch (needs a zipper)
-Pincushion for swap (needs stuffing)

And just because it wouldn't be a WIP post without adding another project - I need to get started on the Christmas quilt.  We've grown so accustomed to using the Halloween quilt on the couch instead of those store-bought fleece throws that we’re going to be sad when the Halloween stuff gets packed up and there’s no quilt in sight to snuggle with.

What are you working on?  I hope I see it over on Lee’s linky party:
