Remember this quilt?
According to my post about it on Threadbias, I actually started working on it in April. Then I picked it up again in June and posted about it here on the blog. Well, yesterday I picked up where I left off all those months ago.
I hope to get this quilted and bound by the end of this year. I think all us makers say this, but I'd love to start 2014 with NO WIP PILE. This makes number four in my pile of ready-to-be-quilted baby quilt tops. I should probably get going on those if I hope to meet my goal.
I pulled some fabrics from my stash that will work for backing. I may or may not use both of them, it really just depends if I have enough or if I need to use them both (I haven't actually unfolded and measured these big pieces yet). Hopefully the Little Folks voile is big enough and I can use the Nicey Jane Hop Dot for binding. Fingers crossed!
Do you have any quilting or sewing goals for the end of 2013?
What a pretty quilt! I do so love linen. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteMy 2013 goal is to keep making headway on making/writing my next class =). I'm still halfway tempted to start some stockings for a friend just for fun, but that seems foolish...
That is a great goal! I can't imagine it myself, I feel like I was born with a WIP pile, lol.
ReplyDeleteWell good on you my dear. I love that pattern
