Geese

For the February block assignment for Love Circle at do. Good Stitches, Ara Jane requested flying geese.  Colors are dusty pink, aqua, and navy with low volume backgrounds.

wonky geese

Here I decided to get all wonky and improvy.  It was fun.  Some of those tiny geese on the right side are about the size of a dime.  Everything is cuter in miniature, right?

regular geese

Here I did regular geese with alternating backgrounds to keep it looking scrappy.

I took an extra step with the regular geese and sewed another seam before trimming so I could get some tiny HSTs out of the trimmings instead of a bunch of triangle scraps.  These guys will finish at 1 inch.  I think I have a little project in mind for them, but we will just have to see what turns up!

I'm headed to QuiltCon tomorrow evening.  Have a good weekend y'all!
