Here's a quick post about what I'm working on lately. Little by little when I get a spare moment.
This is going to be a table runner. A fun wonky star, some random patchwork, and my newest love: hand embroidery.
I've still got the rest of the light string to embroider up the side. Which by the way, was traced off the fabric itself. The "Merry Christmas" was traced from a font on my computer, directly from the screen as a makeshift lightbox.
I am still undecided on how to quilt it, but I know there will be hand stitching in red on the star.
Fabric is Joy by Kate Spain for Moda. It will finish at about 18" x 27"...so really more of a table topper than a table runner, similar to my Halloween one.
This is going to be adorable Kristan! I love your embroidered light string. Very cute.
